Aussie-born and bred, Rebecca carries her charismatic smile and beach-town vibe wherever she
teaches and performs.
Fusing a love for all dance styles, Rebecca’s classes focus on strength and fluidity, body
appreciation, and expression. Her teaching method is grounded around 3 core concepts: Control,
Power and Connection.
Having danced since she was 6, Rebecca has been involved in all sorts of genres from Jazz to
Classical and Bollywood to Hip Hop. A diverse range in styles provided the opportunity to
perform at the Coca-Cola launch in Melbourne, Sydney Hair Expo, Brisbane Salsa Solo,
Newcastle night clubs, Frock on Fashion show, Westpac Helicopter appeal, private functions and
numerous other charity & corporate events. In Toronto, Canada, Rebecca was proud to perform for the 2015 Pan Am Games.
Her passion for dance led to an intense love of choreography; she was recruited by Fusion
Performing Arts Australia to choreograph the 100+ Cheer squad of the Newcastle Jets (part of
the Football Federation Australia’s A-league).
Her career in dance took a twist when she was exposed to Salsa and Bachata at a local pub in
2011. It was a world which would pull her in and send her travelling across the globe to the
USA, Canada, Croatia, Belgium, Ireland, Holland and the UK to perform at congresses and
refine her Latin styling.
Currently, Rebecca teaches Bachata, Salsa, and ladies styling classes, in addition to coaching the
Pivot Advanced Ladies Team and training students for Latin Competitions.
